The Lattice Rung is a testing and training tool designed to both measure and improve your finger strength. The top of the rung is a large, comfortable hold for warming up while the bottom 20mm edge is designed for testing and training.

This rung is the standard edge we use worldwide with our Lattice Assessments and is supported by the largest dataset in the climbing industry. Included with the rung are details of how to perform a finger strength self-assessment that allows you to measure your maximum force throughout a training season and see how you compare to all the other climbers we have tested. We will be able to identify if you are “strong” or “weak” for your climbing grade in both bouldering and route climbing disciplines and produce a mini report, customised to you, for free!

There are also 3 training sessions included with your fingerboard that you can use to help to train and improve those finger strength scores!

End caps are available for the rung as an optional extra.

    This is a a great rung. I now use this rung exclusively for all my home training.
    Top big rung for warming up and the bottom small edge for all strength and endurance based work.
    There are no edges, so you can’t cheat yourself by nestling fingers – it keeps you honest!
    It’s very comfortable and skin friendly to boot.

    The Lattice Rung really appeals to me because of its simplicity. The top jug is great for warming up, doing pull exercises, and anything else I don’t want to stress my fingers too much with.
    The bottom edge is the fantastic standard of 20mm, but, because of the rounded front, isn’t painful at all. This is one of the only edges that I can train two finger open grips without hating myself!
    The biggest reason I’m a fan though is probably that its no-frills approach really helps to stay focused on the workout instead of screwing around with trying to figure out the best holds. Not only that, but your performance on the rung is backed by 15+ years of experience/data from the Lattice guys, which can be leveraged to help you understand where you need to be to send your latest proj! Get one and crush!

    This rung is grate. As it is a bench mark of my finger strength which I can monitor my progress easy and it is very comfortable to use!!!

    I love this training rung! It’s really simple to use, and it feels great on my skin. I like that I can test my strength on this rung with the Lattice data. 5/5.
